A giclee print is a digital high-resolution print which is almost indistinguishable from the original artwork.
The printing method is intricate and slow as each image is built up from the saturation of colour of thousands of tiny droplets of ink. By printing on a heavy weight Hahnemuhle fine art paper, similar to watercolour paper, the print surface looks like the original pastel. The paper and inks used give excellent results for artists using the highest quality digital photographs and have a very long life expectancy.
